I can sit up on my own! Beginning to mid July, 2002

First tastes ever, besides medicines: Popscicles and carmel and vanilla ice cream! Mmmmm....she loved them both! Then had banana rice cereal in her bottle instead of plain. But I stopped that. She needs to have vegetables before the sweet fruits and things!

March 13, 2002 First set of shots (2 month, set of 4)!!!

July 02, 2002: First real cold (harsh cough) Awww!!!

July 10th, 2002: First time sitting in a high-chair (at her Great- Grandparents house in WI)

July 29, 2002: First time sitting in her own high-chair! Isn't she cute!?!

First Foods:

Gerber Baby's 1st and 2nd Foods:

Gerber Green Beans (July 29, 2002) "Thumbs up!" after the second try! She still doesn't understand that this kind of food will satisfy her tummy. She usually wants a bottle asap after a few spoonfulls of her baby food.

Gerber Peas (July 30, 2002) "Thumbs down!" She gave me the wierdest look I've ever seen on her before. I think it was just too many different flavors in such a short time, and too sweet, compared to the green beans she had the day before. I think I will stick to green beans for a couple weeks before I move onto peas and spinach. Sticking to the green veges. first! Dr.'s orders! =)

Gerber Squash (Beginning of August 2002) "Thumbs Up!" Jasmine gave 2 thumbs up to squash. Yuk! =) I guess I loved it when I was a baby, but I hate it now. She just loves it so much!

Gerber Spinach (Mid-End of August 2002) "Thumbs Up!" and "Thumbs Down!" Jasmine seemed to like the Spinach I gave her, but a few minutes after she ate it, she broke out in hives on her chin and cheek area. So I will never give her spinach again. Which is a shame because it's so good for her. I think I recall hearing that her daddy was allergic to it, also.

Gerber Peas --second try-- ( Mid-End of August 2002) "Thumbs Up!" I decided to give peas another try with Jasmine. Now that she tried some of the sweeter vegetables, I thought maybe she's like them again, and I was right!

Gerber Mixed Vegetables (August 25, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" She liked them so much, she decided to give her whole face, body, head, and hair a taste too! Haha =) She made such a mess~ so I just gave her a little bath afterwards! The mixed vegetables combo consists of Potatoes, Carrots, and Peas.

Gerber Carrots and Sweet Peas (August 31, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" She ate them like everyother food! Loved them so much! She's such a good eater now! She opens her mouth so good, and eats every bit of her food like a good girl, with a huge grin on her face! =)

Gerber Carrots (September 03, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" Loved them after a sour look on her face. You can always tell when she finds out that what she just ate is a new taste. It's so cute!

Gerber Apple Juice (September 05, 2002) "Big Thumbs Up!" Even though it was hard for her to get used to drinking out of a sipper cup, she still loved the taste!!!

Gerber Sweet Potatos and Corn (September 06, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" "Yum Yum Yum!!!" she says!!!

Gerber Pear Juice (September 11, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" She can drink out of her sippy cup like a big girl now!!! Go Jaz!

Gerber Apple Sauce (September 14, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" I heated the apple sauce up a little bit, and she loved it. It was her very first fruit food, and it was a nice change for her! Nice and sweet and refreshing! I'll try them with her again, cold. But when vegetables and fruits are cooked a little bit, the nutrients come out more!

Gerber Apricots (September 15, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" She didn't eat a whole lot, because she was tired, but she still liked them!

Gerber Bananas (September 27, 2002) "Thumbs Up!" She absolutely positively loved them! It was a new taste AND texture for her! It's kinda gooey! =)

Jasmine Has Tried Lots of New Foods, and has Met her Monthly Milestones also. I will Post these As soon As I find the Time!!!
